Question1. What are the types of health?

Answer: Health is considered to be of four types-

                                          

1. Physical health

2. Mental health

3. Social health

4. Emotional health                     

Question 2. What kind of food should children eat?

  


Answer- Children should eat clean and balanced diet. It must contain all the elements
 like protein, carbohydrates, protein, mineral salts, vitamins, water.




Question 3. What things should we take care of to stay healthy?



Answer- 1. Medical check-up- (1) Children should get their body    

 check-up done on time to time Head vaccinations should 

also be given.

(2) Any kind of injury should be treated.

2. Temperament- (1) Children should be happy all the time.

                               (2) Irritable nature adversely affects health.

                                 (3) Good character is essential for health.

3. Habits- (1) Getting up on time, eating, reading and playing and resting.

                  (2) Keeping your body and surroundings clean.

                  (3) Adequate arrangement of lighting for reading. Reading in low light weakens the eyes.

                 (4) It is necessary to have proper furniture for sitting and sleeping.

 4. Exercise Sports and Yoga- 

(1) To keep your body healthy it is necessary to

 do exercise or yoga.


(2) Exercise or yoga should always be done on an empty stomach

 (3) An open environment is essential for exercise and yoga

                                                                                               

(4) Children should participate in sports as much as possible and it  is appropriate to warm up the body first.



Question 4. What should be kept in mind while eating food?

Answer- The following points should be kept in mind while eating food-

1. Hands should be washed thoroughly with soap before eating.

2. Do not eat excessively hot or cold food.

3. One should not eat while watching or working on computer etc.

4. Food should be eaten sitting upright and not lying down.

5. Children should eat mostly home-cooked food. {Consumption of fast food like pizza, burger, etc. is harmful to health}.



6. Food should always be covered to protect it from flies and dust.

7. Fruits should always be washed thoroughly and eaten.

Question 5. Write a note on the following?   

(a) Cleanliness of skin

(b) Cleaning of hair

(c) Cleaning of eyes

(d) Cleaning of ears

(e) Cleansing of the nose

(f) Dental hygiene

(g) Cleanliness of toilets

 

Answer- (a) Cleanliness of skin- Skin covers and protects all the organs of our body. If you do not pay attention to the cleanliness of the skin, then the pores in the skin become closed with dust and dirt, due to which the unnecessary and harmful substances of the body do not come out of the body and many types of diseases occur.

(b) Cleanliness of hair- Long hair adds four moons to a person's beauty. A balanced diet contributes a lot to the beauty and strength of hair. Hair should be combed daily. They should be washed periodically. Hair should be dried thoroughly after washing. Care should be taken to wash for hair strength. Keeping hair clean prevents lice. We should not use someone else's comb. If the hair is not taken care of properly then it starts falling then we should consult a doctor.

(C) Cleanliness of eyes - Cleanliness of eyes:- Eyes are the softest part of our body. Without eyes, the scenery of nature cannot be seen and no work can be done easily in daily life. So it is very important to take care of the eyes. Eyes should be splashed with clean and cold water two to three times a day. It is very important to protect the eyes from strong light. Sunglasses should be used while going out in the sun. While reading, talking and also While looking continuously for long periods of time we should not strain our muscles while doing any eye work.

(d) Cleanliness of ears - It is very important to take care of the ears like other parts of the body Our eardrum is very delicate We should not hit anything sharp in the ear because doing so can rupture the eardrum. Do not listen to music for a long time with headphones on. Prolonged use of mobile phones has a negative effect on hearing. If there is a feeling of heaviness in the ears or an abscess, etc, medical attention should be sought.

(e) Cleanliness of nose - We breathe through nose and mouth but breathing through nose is beneficial By breathing through the nose, the air enters the body after being purified and adapted to the body temperature The nose acts as a net. There are tiny hairs at the main entrance of the nose that trap dust particles and germs in the air like a net. Thus, it purifies the air entering the lungs. It is also necessary to clean the nose while taking a bath As a result, the body is protected from various diseases.

(f) Cleanliness of teeth - Teeth help in digestion of food. Digested food is easily digested We should brush our teeth every morning. After eating anything we should rinse well so that no food particles get stuck in the teeth. Food stuck in teeth causes decay and bad breath. We must brush our teeth before going to bed at night. If we do not pay attention to the cleanliness of the teeth, then the teeth get diseases. The teeth begin to become hollow from the inside. Thus the teeth become weak. Dental diseases cause many diseases to the body.




(g) Cleanliness of the feet - Along with the cleanliness of the rest of the body, it is very important to clean the feet and hands. Dirt gets trapped in the enlarged hands. This dirt trapped in the nose as a saint can enter our body while eating. So we should wash our hands and feet very well. We should trim our nails once or twice a week.

Question 6 Write any to maintain good health?

Answer- (1) One should always eat clean and balanced food.

                (2) You should get enough sleep according to your age.

                (3) A medical examination of the body should be done from time to time.

                (4) One should walk or exercise according to the body's need and age
